Job Description:
- Perform oil and filter changes on customer vehicles
- Follow proper procedures to check for leaks and reset service reminder systems
- Conduct multi-point inspections on vehicles and report any issues or recommendations to service advisors
- Perform tire rotations
- Check tire tread depth and air pressure
- Replace wiper blades and light bulbs
- Perform transmission, radiator, and power steering fluid exchanges and fills
- Conduct battery testing and replacement services
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance services including air filter replacements and serpentine belt inspections and replacements
- Adhere to dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and contribute to shop cleanliness standards
- Properly dispose of materials
- Communicate courteously and effectively with customers and advisors
- Update work orders accurately
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience as an express technician, lube tech, or similar role
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to complete express services efficiently and accurately
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods of time
- ASE certifications a plus
