As a Power Washer Repair Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing power washers and related equipment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that power washers meet safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of power washer systems, components, and be skilled in problem-solving and repair techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of power washers to identify mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess the extent of repairs needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems related to engines, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other components.
- Analyze electrical systems for faults and repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- Perform necessary repairs on power washer components to ensure optimal functionality.
- Replace or refurbish damaged parts such as seals, valves, gaskets, and hoses.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of power washers.
- Conduct tests on repaired power washers to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Verify that all repaired equipment meets quality and performance specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
- Provide clear and concise reports to customers on the status of their power washers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather information about equipment issues and explain repair process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in power washer systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining power washers or similar equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, small engines, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
