Regional Fixed Operations Manager – Fleet and Trucking

This role will be instrumental in overseeing the repair depots across multiple sites in the Mid-Atlantic states, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Job Summary:

The Regional Fixed Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and success of repair depots within the designated region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-volume repair and recon centers, leading teams of technicians and service professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-Site Management:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple repair depots within the Mid-Atlantic states.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize efficiency and productivity across all locations.
• Operational Excellence:
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of technicians and service professionals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the delivery of top-quality repairs and services.
• Work closely with technical teams to address and resolve any issues related to repair processes.
• Vendor Management:
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and materials.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
• Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Fleet and Trucking industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-site operations, preferably in the Mid-Atlantic states.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of repair and recon center operations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
